Dave Teegarden was a college chemistry teacher for almost two decades before joining the Research Laboratories of Eastman Kodak Company as a polymer chemist. Since 1976 he has sung with a number of choral groups in the Rochester area, including the Rochester Oratorio Society, Rochester Bach Festival Chorus, Eastman Rochester Chorus, and the First Unitarian Church choir.
For several years he has volunteered at R Community Bikes, where he is now a lead mechanic, webmaster, and a member of the board. On retiring from Kodak in 2010, Dave took up the string bass, studying with Gaelen McCormick. Hobbies in addition to music include biking, woodworking, gardening, and chasing after grandchildren. |
