Eric Bergeman, originally from Forman, North Dakota, is a flutist pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Flute Performance at the Eastman School of Music. During his time at Eastman, Eric has frequently performed with orchestral, wind, and chamber ensembles and has served as Secretary and Librarian of the OSSIA New Music Ensemble, where he has found a great interest and passion for contemporary music.

He has received 2nd Prize in the MTNA National Woodwinds Competition, was a winner of the Jacqueline Avant Concerto Competition, 1st Prize in the Fargo-Moorhead Area Youth Symphony Founders Concerto Competition, and 2nd Prize in the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Eric has performed throughout the United States, England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Finland. During his summers, Eric has attended the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, the Eastern Music Festival, the Soiva Music Festival, and the International Institute for Young Musicians.

His primary teachers include Bonita Boyd, Anne Harrow, and Debora Harris.
