Kirk Morrison is a 2nd Year Masters Student at the Eastman School of Music studying Trumpet Performance & Literature. While studying at Eastman, Kirk has performed with ensembles such as the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Syracuse Orchestra, Finger Lakes Opera, and has most recently joined the substitute musician roster for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
At Eastman, Kirk also regularly performs with the Eastman Wind Ensemble, the Eastman Philharmonia, and is the newly appointed principal trumpet of the Eastman Brass Guild. Before attending the Eastman School of Music, Kirk graduated from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in the Spring of 2023. Kirk is a current student of Andrew McCandless and Wes Nance. |
